Step by Step Interior Design— 

À la carte interior design consultations

Step by Step was created to provide clients with the opportunity to work with a designer and gain access to trade resources, without committing to designing a full entire room. Clients often use this level of service for custom window treatments, carpets and upholstery items. 

This package includes consultations at the Village Design Studio in Bronxville (onsite meetings can be arranged for an additional fee), design boards and dedicated project managers, who will schedule follow-up design consults and manage orders.  All deliveries and installations will be coordinated by VDS but overseen by the client.

Step by Step clients will receive retail pricing on all goods ordered through VDS and will be charged an hourly design fee for any scheduled design consults.

Full Service Interior Design—

The design and execution of at least one complete room 

Our full service interior design projects are a true labor of love.  Designing a home is deeply personal and getting to know our clients is the best part of our job.  Full service design is a very collaborative effort between Village Design Studio and our Clients:  from the first initial design consultation all the way to installation and finishing touches. 

This package includes the highest level of service. We provide onsite consultations, professional measurements, and design boards.  A dedicated project manager will be available to answer all questions, schedule follow-up design consults,  manage orders and oversee deliveries and installations.

Full Service clients will receive trading pricing on all goods ordered through VDS and will be charged a design commission on the overall project.

Step by Step Construction Management— 

Design consultation for renovation of at least one room

Step by Step is for those who want interior design consultation for very specific elements of their renovation such as sourcing tile, countertop material, lighting, hardware, vanities, etc. Designers will not spec or order plumbing fixtures in a step by step capacity.   

This package includes consultations at the Village Design Studio  in Bronxville (onsite can be arranged for an additional fee), design boards and dedicated project managers, who will schedule follow-up design consults and manage orders.  All deliveries and installations will be coordinated by VDS but overseen by the client.

Full Service Construction Management—

The design consultation of a complete renovation

There are many overwhelming decisions to make when renovating or building a new space.  Full Service construction management provides you with professional design support to make the build process a little easier. 

VDS is responsible for the bidding and hiring of tradespeople such as architects, contractors, plumbers, electricians, sourcing materials for construction and selecting all design elements of the entire project.

This package includes the highest level of service.  We provide a dedicated designer and project manager to create a timeline and schedule meetings with tradespeople onsite, keep the construction on schedule as best as possible, and select all building materials, fixtures and finishes, etc. until design is finalized.  VDS will manage the budget, orders and oversee deliveries and installations.

Full Service customers will receive trade pricing on all goods ordered through VDS and will be charged a designer’s commission on the overall project.

Paint Color Consult—

Paint colors - we’ve got it down to a science! Save yourself the countless hours of agonizing and contact us for a paint color consultation.

This package includes onsite consultations with a selection of colors.

Paint color consults will be charged a designer’s fee for any scheduled design consults.
